As of today, "TFS Fugitive - The Terran Fleet Command Saga, Book 4" is officially "draft-complete!" The draft manuscript ended up at 90,419 words, making it the second longest book in the series after TFS Navajo (94,998 words). If all goes well, I should be able to release the book on Amazon no later than May 15th ... maybe even a bit sooner. More updates coming soon!

Any new updates on the Audible release? That is wonderful that Mr. Kafer will be back, I cannot stress how important it is with keeping the same narrator that we all know and love throughout the series. I’m sure Mr. Kafer realized this when they tried to change it with the frontier saga series after 15 books (which I wouldn’t purchase the 16th). Keep up the great work, I immediately fell in love with this series and cannot wait for the Audible release!!!

So far, it’s still looking like late summer to early fall. Podium typically doesn’t provide anything like a concrete release date until the final month or so, but my guess is that we will see it sometime around late September to early October. Have a great summer!

How far behind is audible lagging for you these days

I wish I could say Podium Publishing has been improving, but, unfortunately, each subsequent release has taken longer than the last. For Navajo, the Audible release was about five months after the Kindle release. That seems excessive to me, so, hopefully, they’ll be a little faster this time. In any event, I suspect we’ll see it in the late summer / early fall time frame.

Honestly as long as the quality stays as good im happy, and as long as Jeffery Kafer keeps doing the Narration.
I am not sure if your series was one of them, but i will say there was at least half a dozen series i found and listen to just because he was the narrator, i love his work and what he does with your work..
As far as I know, Kafer will be back for TFS Fugitive. I agree that he and Podium do great work. I’m sure that if I had to do the recordings myself, they would probably never get finished. So from that perspective, I guess five or six months isn’t too bad. 🙂 Have a great weekend!
