Just a quick note that I'm making solid progress on The Terran Fleet Command Saga, Book 2. I've also changed the title from The Pelaran Alliance to TFS Theseus in order to be more consistent with book 1. More updates coming soon!

Tori, very nice first effort – certainly didn’t read like one. Great characters, good pace, interesting story arc with lots of opportunities for the future. When you listed your favorite authors, I knew you’d be great – I’d have a very similar list.

Thank you, Matt. What I wouldn’t give for more Patrick O’Brian books. Heck, I’d even settle for another Russell Crowe movie at this point! They took quite a few creative liberties with the story (which Hollywood has been known to do), but I still think they did a reasonably good job.

It would certainly be easier to make a living as a writer if you could be on that kind of release schedule, but I just don’t understand how they get it done so fast.
Bear with me, though. I should have the draft of book 2 finished in about three weeks!

Thanks, John. I have lots of work to do in January … but I’m hoping to have the draft manuscript completed by the end of the month. After that, I’ll have two weeks to complete my own editing before my editor gets her opportunity to hack away at it! It’s looking like March 19th is a pretty good guess for the release date at the moment. I’ll post more frequent updates as we get closer to the release. Tori
