TFS Fugitive – Released!

TFS Fugitive  – The Terran Fleet Command Saga, Book 4 is now available for Kindle download at Amazon.com.  The paperback version should be available within the next couple of days.  Head on over to the “Books” page and pick up a copy today!

Please note that it will take several days for Amazon KDP to fill in all of the correct details for things like page count, series info, etc.  Also, some servers lag a little behind others, so if you are unable to see the Kindle version of the book yet using one of the hyperlinks above, please allow a couple of hours and try again.

I always get questions about the length of new books, so here are a few details.  Fugitive turned out to be 90,538 words long.  That's just shy of the length of TFS Navajo, making it the second longest book in the series.  As a point of reference, both Navajo and Fugitive are almost exactly the same length as The Hobbit (95,022).  Lastly, the paperback version of TFS Fugitive has 368 pages.

I hope you enjoy it!

I just devoured this series… I almost always wait until a complete series is written and thought, with four books, it’s got to be complete… arrrggghhh!!! :). The problem I’m having now is that I actually enjoy this series tremendously and now must wait (who knows how long) for book 5, lol… Really, These are well-written books with just the right amount of (apparently) legitimate research and stretched science to make it stimulating…combined with a plethora of action scenes and this series becomes a jewel amongst science fiction literature…

    Great job!

Thanks very much, Rick! I know exactly what you mean because I do the same thing when I’m looking to start reading a new series. In my mind, Fugitive represents an “end of the beginning” chapter in the TFC story. The arrival of the Greys in the Epilogue gives us something to look forward to in subsequent books, but my goal was to advance the story line to the point where Humanity truly finds itself at a crossroads.

Very happy to hear that you have enjoyed the story so far. Thanks again for reading and taking the time to post!

Thank you, sir. It’s always great to hear from readers with a military background, and comments like yours are particularly meaningful. Have a great week!

Another great book. What a cliff hanger ending; which leaves me wanting the next book tomorrow, this one didn’t move at the beginning, but when it got going it moved. I can’t wait for #5. My problem now is what to read until it comes out.

You did a great job on the ending, the story as a whole was fantastic but my god the ending has hooked me. This is my favourite book series so far. Great work!

I did leave a review but I search it up on google and the results were not that explaining. How does a review on amazon help a book? Does it cause amazon to recommend it more or something?

Yup, I see it now on Amazon.au. Thank you very much! Yes, positive reviews have a wide variety of effects including helping the book to be ranked higher in Amazon’s “featured” listings and to appear in more of the promotional materials they send out each day. First and foremost, however, is the influence that positive reviews have on people browsing for books in a specific genre. The bottom line is that the more books you sell and the better the reviews, the more people see and buy the book, so momentum is very important. Most of us who write books for a living can’t afford to do so for very long without consistent sales, so it’s critically important to support the authors you like with good reviews. Thanks again!

Thanks, Rob! I’ll be working with Podium later this week to get the ball rolling. With any luck, you’ll see it by late summer to early fall.

Agh I don’t know if I can wait that long for the audio book. Where is a time machine when you need one?

          Hello Alexander,

Yes, the audiobook should show up on Audible as available for pre-order sometime within the next couple of weeks. Once the publishing company submits all of the required materials to Audible (which happened last week), they provide a release date (September 5th). Unfortunately, Audible doesn’t tell us precisely when the book will show up for pre-order, but it’s typically at least a couple of weeks before the release date. I’ll also send out a newsletter reminder between now and release day. Hope you enjoy it!
