Hello, Sohail! Podium Publishing is already working on it. With any luck, we should see it on Audible by late summer to early fall. As a general rule, they run about 4-6 months behind the Kindle release.

It does take a little while … longer than I’d like, to tell you the truth. There are a number of things that contribute to the long lead time such as getting on Jeffrey Kafer’s schedule. Audible itself is a big part of the delay as well since they now require approximately 8 weeks to post a book once the publisher delivers the audio files. I guess the good news is that it still gets done, and done very well. I’m sure if I was trying to put it together myself, it wouldn’t be nearly as high quality and would probably take even longer. 🙂

I’m fairly new to quality, narrated audio books. I’m addicted, to say the least.
Thank you for sharing the worlds that occupy your mind!

Hello, David, and thanks for posting. I’m a big fan of audiobooks as well, and have been surprised by how much I also enjoy listening to nonfiction on long car rides (although my wife doesn’t share my opinion on that subject). It’s a great way to squeeze in books that we would otherwise never make time to “read.”

I’m very happy to hear that you are enjoying the story and hope TFS Fugitive will be your favorite so far!

Was very happy to see this finally available.. Thanks, that said i have a question, it may already be listed but is the the final book in the series? i have learned many times not to go reading around unread book/series info as i have had numerous stories ruined.
I thought i remember seeing somewhere it was a trilogy but i have been through so many series on audible i get them confused easily.

Hello, Rob, and thanks for posting! TFS Navajo is definitely not the last book in the series, but your question is harder to answer than you might think. TFS Fugitive (book 4) is the book I consider the last in the “original” story line. Having said that, I do plan to write more stories in the TFC universe, but plan to make future books either “stand-alone” stories or an entirely separate series. Hopefully, that makes sense. If not, please post again! 🙂

That makes perfect sense, thanks for the reply..
I actually like that ideas and the few authors i have found that do it, having lots of books or a few series all built in the same universe, same common political layout, even stories of the great things the people in other stories had done. i think it builds a more vibrant environment, and i would think as an author, would allow you to add a lot more content to any given book once some of that history is established.
For example, in your second series you can start making references and points about things that were explained in much more detail in the other series. Things that wouldn’t limit the current story or series (so people are ‘forced’ to read all the previous books), but things that would reward those that do know the history. Done well it can almost add a whole new story within a story, or layer of depth that would make the books a lot better, but would still allow it to read well as a standalone novel or series.
I would guess its probably hard to do properly, so i do look forward to seeing how you decide to braid the stories together 🙂
I hope one day i can do something like this, i just lack the creativity myself, so until then i indulge in all these existing great stories like the stuff you write, thanks again.

Thanks, Rob. One of the most difficult things to do with a series is to remain consistent … particularly with “tech” items like ships, weapons, etc. I keep extensive notes, but it’s still surprisingly difficult to keep track of everything.
